IMCO Construction is a big shot construction company located in Bellingham, Washington, and has been in business since 1978. The company does about $40 million worth of contracts each year, and has 250 employees working for them, so it’s safe to say they have some credibility.


With such a large amount of projects to supervise and manage, the field operators, contractors, clients, and architects needed more than just an email system – they need a project management tool. IMCO needed a central area where calendars, contracts, images, and specs could be shared and distributed.


When looking for a project management solution, IMCO had a few options. However, according to Jason Kelley, the IT Manager, you “can’t pack that many features and expect it to work well”, which is why the company decided to go with HyperOffice. IMCO works great with HyperOffice now as it is “simple to use, doesn’t require a lot of training, and nobody needs to know FTP programming”.
