If I'm on HyperOffice at an Internet cafe/library/public machine can
someone go to the browser history and get into my account? Will the cookies that are stored be a security concern?
No,
HyperOffice uses cookies to keep track of a user's session. The cookies
do not contain any confidential data such as the user's username or
password.
Is my business data protected with HyperOffice?
Yes.
Our secure login application prevents unauthorized access to your
company's confidential data. A secure (SSL) connection is available for
an additional charge and is established with our server at every login.

Email
Can I access other email accounts with HyperOffice?
Yes.
Like Outlook, you can set up HyperOffice to read from any POP3
accessible email account. With one simple setup, you'll have one portal
to access all of your business and personal email accounts. No more
logging into multiple services, searching multiple accounts, or missing
critical emails. Please keep in mind that AOL and Hotmail do not
support POP3 accounts and this feature will not work with those mail
providers.
I already use Microsoft Outlook. Do I need HyperOffice?
Yes.
HyperOffice can replace Outlook or be used in conjunction with Outlook,
depending on your needs. Most users find they no longer need Outlook
because HyperOffice provides all the same features and functionality of
Outlook plus a whole lot more.
Microsoft Outlook is a PC based
software program, which means you will have to purchase a copy of this
software and install it on your computer. From this point on all of
your emails, contacts, files and information are stored on your
computer. Therefore you can only access your email, contacts, calendar,
files...etc. through your computer.
In contrast HyperOffice is a
browser-based application, which requires no installation and is always
available from any computer. HyperOffice stores your critical files and
information securely online, providing you with 24x7 access to the
information you need. In addition, HyperOffice includes groupware and

Does HyperOffice synchronize with Outlook?
Yes.
HyperOffice can be used as a replacement or as an add-on feature to

Does HyperOffice protect my emails from viruses and spam?
Yes.
The HyperOffice email system provides an anti-virus service to block
viruses and prevent them from reaching your inbox. All affected emails
are automatically put in the 'Quarantine' mail folder and deleted after
a short period. HyperOffice also provides a spam control service that
redirects all spam emails to the 'spam' mail folder, which is purged
periodically.
Can I keep my same email address?
Yes. HyperOffice allows company account users to use a custom email address, such as username@yourcompanyname.com.
Can I setup aliases in HyperOffice?
Yes. HyperOffice will let you create aliases for your company account.

Can I restrict people from viewing/editing/deleting shared files?
Yes.
Hyperoffice enables a group administrator to define user rights on all
the sections of the group. A user can be assigned any combination of
read/write/delete/create directories privileges on a group's shared
files.

Can I import contacts from another contact manager/database?

How does the password recovery process work?
To
retrieve your password there is a link 'forgot your password?' on the
login page. Enter your username and answer the hint question you have
set up at sign up. Your password will be sent to your existing email
address you provided at sign up.
I have a small company with no IT department. If I have a problem what do I do?

is your IT department. We provide all the IT support you will need so
