Founded in February, 1998, WebOS, Inc. has built a powerful new software infrastructure for the Internet — called WebOS — that seamlessly binds disparate data, applications and services. WebOS is spearheading the paradigm shift from the desktop to the Internet, unifying software applications, services and data in a ubiquitous environment. The WebOS vision is to enable business users access to their data -- anywhere at anytime.

WebOS's first implementation of its Business Application Engine, an Internet-based office suite called Hyperoffice, was recently ranked by C|NET as one of the top five Web-based applications, along with Hotmail.
