Modify a Reminder

You can edit the information of an existing reminder.

Usage Guidelines

  1. From the Reminders page, click the in the Modify column, click the edit link.

  2. The Modify Reminder page appears. This page is divided into two primary sections, Reminder Information and Reminder Action.

Date

You can set the date and the time for your reminders using this drop-down menu. The menus are in the order Month, Date, Year, Hours, Minutes, AM/PM

Reminder

Describe a brief title for your reminder. This is the title that will be displayed with your reminder.

Notes

Provide a brief description of your reminder, which will be displayed as part of your reminder. There is a evaluate notes as HTML check box below the description field that allows you to save your notes in an HTML format and display it as the same.

Associated Task

The HyperOffice system allows you to synchronize your activities across sections. You can create a reminder and associate the reminder with a task. The Associated Task drop-down menu consists of all the tasks currently in your My Tasks section. To associate a task to a reminder, simply select the relevant task from the Associated Tasks drop-down menu

Associated Event

The HyperOffice system allows you to synchronize your activities across sections. In other words, you can create a reminder and associate the reminder with an event. The Associated Event drop-down menu consists of all the events currently in your My Events section. To associate an event to a reminder, simply select the relevant task from the Associated Event drop-down menu.

Reminder Action

The reminder action allows you to set preferred modes of delivery for each reminder. You can specify one or more of the following actions for a reminder:

Popup Reminder: The pop-up reminder is an Internet Explorer window that appears with your reminder title at the scheduled time and date of the reminder. The options available to you within this popup window are:

  • Stop Reminding Me: Clicking this button stops the popup from displaying again.

  • Delete Reminder: Clicking on this button deletes the reminder permanently.

  • Reschedule: Clicking on this button allows you the option of rescheduling your meeting to the timeframes specified in the from now drop-down menu. These timeframes range from 5 minutes to two months.

Send Email To

Selecting this box and entering an email address in the space provided next to the box enables users to send an reminder email at the scheduled time of the reminder

Create Reminder

Creates the current reminder only and takes you back to the My Reminders page.

Create Reminder and Add Another

Creates the current reminder and takes you back to the Create New Reminder page.

Cancel

Cancels all entered data and takes you back to the My Reminders page.
