You can customize the number of items that appear on any list on any page in the General Preferences page. On this page you can specify:
How many items you want to appear on any list
The length of Calendar items
If you want/don't want an item Deletion prompt
If you want/don't want a folder Deletion prompt
Your default contacts category
Your Initial contacts section
Your default mail folder.
To change your general preferences, follow these steps:
Click the Settings tab on the left navigation bar.
Click the General button. The General Preferences page appears.
To specify how many items you want to appear on any list, in the Items Per Page list, select a number. For Example, in the 'Groups/Shared Documents' if you have about 20 folders, but want only 15 to be shown, select 15 from the list.
To specify the length of calendar items, in the Trim Calendar Items list, select a number. These numbers signify the number of alphanumeric characters that can be displayed on the particular day in the calendar. You can choose from 'Don't trim calendar items' to 8, 10, 12, 15, and continue in sequences of 5 all the way to 50.
In the Item Deletion list, select the option you want to appear when you delete an item:
Prompt me when deleting an item - Select this option if you want to be prompted every time you want to delete any item.
Don't Prompt me when deleting an item - Select this option if you do not want to be prompted by the application every time you want to delete an item.
In the Folder Deletion list, select the option you want to appear when you delete an item:
Prompt me when deleting a folder- Select this option if you want to be prompted every time you want to delete any folder.
Don't Prompt me when deleting a folder - Select this option if you do not want to be prompted by the application every time you want to delete a folder.
Select the Default Contacts Category list to view all the categories created. Select the Category you want to display as a default when you select a particular group. When you go to the My Contacts or the Shared Contacts page under the Personal or the Groups section the category you selected will be the default contacts category.
Select either Initially view my category list or Initially view my default category.
To specify your default mail folder, select an option in the Default Mail Folder list. All your folders and sub folders in the Personal/My Email folder appear. The default mail folder will be the mail folder you are first taken to when you click the "mail" icon in the left navigation bar.
When you have completed specifying your General settings, click the Update button.
