Add Auto Responder/Forwarding

To use auto responder/forwarding, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Settings tab on the left navigation bar.

  2. Click the Mail button. The Mail Preferences page appears.

  3. On the Mail Preferences page, click the Configure AutoResponder\Forwarding button.

  4. The AutoResponder\Forwarding Preferences page appears.

Note:  By default Use Forwarding and Use AutoReponder will be set to ‘Don’t use e-mail forwarding’ and ‘Disable AutoResponder’ respectively.

 

Enable/Disable your email forwarder

  1. To set Forwarding to another email address, first select Forward all e-mail to the address below from the drop down menu under Use Forwarding.

  2. Then enter the forwarding email address in the text box that follows Forwarding Address and then click on Update Information.

Note: The forwarder is set up by default not to leave a copy of the email in your HyperOffice account, in order to do that, please enter both the external email address to forward to and your HyperOffice account address in the Forwarding Address field separated by a comma.

  1. To disable forwarding, select Don’t use email forwarding from the drop down menu under Use Forwarding and click on Update Information.

 

Enable/Disable your email AutoResponder

  1. To set AutoResponder select AutoRespond to messages with the below message from the drop down menu under Use AutoResponder.

  2. Then enter the AutoResponse Message in the text box and click on Update Information.

  3. To disable the autoresponder, select Disable autoresponder from the drop down menu under Use Autoresponder and click on Update Information.
